    DESCRIPTION

    Opterna UTP Patch cord conforms to ANSI/TIA-568-C.2, ISO/IEC 11801:2011 edition 2.2 and CENELEC EN 50173 (2011) for Category 6/Class E applications. The products have been tested up to 250MHz and are designed for high speed protocols such as Gigabit Ethernet (1000Mbps) applications. The Patch cords are constructed of a U/UTP stranded wire cable and comprises two modular plugs at both ends of the cables. The RJ45 plugs are protected with molded snag-less boots that prevents the latch on the RJ45 plugs from getting damaged during installation.

    Opterna faceplates are manufactured of highly stable fire retardant and high density plastics which ensure product durability. It comes with a combination of 1, 2, 3 and 4 ports for your application and to satisfy your customer’s needs. Opterna faceplates are available in two series; the elegant series of Opterna faceplates comes with a peripheral frame providing an elegant appearance where in the screw holes are concealed by the peripheral frame. Part of the design is the integrated label holder which allows the installer to fix labels and hence making the faceplate TIA 606 compliant. The faceplate comes with an in-built shutter to prevent dust and dampness protection. The angled design of faceplate maintains the patch cords bend radius and provides extra room behind the back box for storage of cable. The angled faceplate is highly recommended for Category 6 and 6A shielded installations. Other variants of the faceplate series are the floor box adaptors available in straight and angled.

    DESCRIPTION

    Opterna category 6 unshielded jacks are designed and manufactured to meet and exceed the current and future requirements for high bandwidth and forms an essential element of the structured cabling system. The keystone jacks are highly reliable and offers optimal network performance. The jack forms part of the faceplate as well as part of the modular patch-panel. Clear wire retaining caps are supplied which provide additional cable strain relief. The keystone jacks are color-coded for both 568A and 568B standards and can be terminated using a standard 110 termination tool.
